Talk about Rubber logic!
To assert that a MAJOR contradiction to Scripture and most offensive outrage to Prottys far and wide is the only possible means or source of unity in Christianity
is at once instantly and outrageously
and 2. one of the most convolted, up-side down instances of irrational illogic that I've ever observed in my 61 years.
I know of 4th graders who'd call such a rationale totally absurd.
OH, HOGWASH.
You are certainly entitled to your own thoughts and conclusions . . .
Though we will all give an account of even every idle word.
BTW, thanks for the added points with the personal assault.
I read your whole post and I am quite amazed that you seem not to have realized that your “absence of evidence” in the earlier paragraphs, to prove a point, only proceeded to validate the Catholic acceptance of Mary from the same “absence of evidence”. (i.e., that she had no other children after Jesus, that God chose to make her freee from sin, etc.)
That same “absence of evidence” has led you to believe that Mary did not believe in the Resurrection? The fact that she was at the foot of the Cross fulfilled the prophecy of Simeon that a sword would pierce her heart (as it did in actuality to Jesus). Having suffered with HIm in spirit at the foot of the Cross doesn’t mean that she did not believe that He would rise again. The “absence of evidence” that you have proposed would be the best argument in her favor that she had the faith to believe that He would resurrect.
I could go on, but my work is calling me now and I have no more time. I wish I did.
Yet again . . . logic, history and definitions leave the land of fact and rational statements . . . flying evidently into outer darkness . . .
Yet again, RC magicsterical mangled reality is proffered as OUR WAY OR THE HIGHWAY. What a sweet contribution to unity in Christ's Blood and Spirit! /s
I was going to put a laughing gif up with this but this is toooooo outrageously pathetic and sad.
“Sounds like the shoe on the other foot is not so comfortable.”
That’s some contorted reasoning.
Your theology is some screwy-looey combination of UFOtheology of the 21rst C that people have developed and yet you scoff at 2000 years of thought and prayer and Scripture.
Tell us once again about Fatima being the appearance of some demonic space imposter.
It speaks to credibility and you have none.
I missed the missing barf warning.
Much appreciate the personal assault. I must be in the realm of bonus points by now.
Indeed—”we will all give an account of even every idle word.”
You as well as others.
Quite sobering, isn’t it?
It says that Jesus had “brothers” and “sisters”. The Bible does not say that Mary was the mother. In fact, some of those “brothers” are mentioned elsewhere as children of Mary Cleopas. The Bible does not say one way or the other about Mary having other children — a collective of cousins, second cousins, adopted children, etc. would commonly be referred to as “brothers” in antiquity.
If Mary had other children, the belief in her perpetual virginity would not have taken hold, as they would certainly be known to the early Christians. Yet, the Early Church referred to her systematically as “the Virgin”.
RIIIIIIIIIGGGGGHHHHHHHTTTTT! /s
And in the RC magicsterical construction on reality . . .
2. up is down
3. in is out
4. the Rubber Bible is truth
5. the Rubber dictionary is accurate
6. the Rubber histories are flawless
7. satan's angels of light are wonderful
8. lies are truth
9. worship is disinterest or at most mild approval or idle affirmation
10. outrageous blasphemies and idolatries in behalf of the RC magicsterical is righteousness
11. self-serving; self-righteous; arrogant political power mongering in behalf of the RC magicsterical is holiness
12. destructiveness = constructiveness.
Soooooooooooooooo impressive!
I'm reminded of a good book by JB Philips, IIRC:
Boggles the mind that any authentic Christian could believe such after reading The authentic UNrubberized Bible.
Unmitigated hogwash as has been demonstrated hereon repeatedly.
I am sorry I still do not understand what is nonsense. I have no problem with Protestants not believing Marian dogma of the Catholic Church. But surely using the example of Mary’s faith as a model for our own Christian lives is not nonsense. I think we could do no better than to follow these words.
“ Let it be done according to Thy Will”
“ My Soul Does Magnify The Lord...”
“ Do whatever He a tells you”
All show that Mary loved God, trusted in Him for her salvation and put His will before all else. Even at great personal pain for herself. She is worthy of honor because she is mother of Our Lord. I don’t expect non Catholics to suddenly start saying the Ave. But it is too bad that they see any regard given to Mary as a threat to Christ. How much threat is it to Christ to see her life as Catholics see it. Glorious evidence of the wonders of God’s grace.
Actually all people can be made sinless. That is what Christ’ atoning sacrifice on the Cross is about. We all can through grace, repentence and His mercy be freed from our sins. The problem is when we turn away from His will and fall into sin again. If we could not be made free from sin by His grace we would have no hope of heaven. None. Hell is our default destination.
So Christ died to take away our sins. He took away Mary’s sin ( in Catholic teaching) from the moment of her conception. He in His mercy, will I pray take away my sins as I repent.
Never fear . . .
The facts of those verses are
escaped by their Rubber Bible’s contorting and twisting all aroud those verses without ever touching the TRUTH of them.
I sleep quite comfortably at night—in the Arms of Jesus.
actually you are wrong. The word used is one used for a cousin or other close kin.
“...The coming of the lawless one will be in accordance with the work of Satan displayed in all kinds of counterfeit miracles, signs and wonders, and in every sort of evil that deceives those who are perishing.
They perish because they refuse to love the truth and so be saved.
For this reason
God sends them a powerful delusion * so that they will believe the lie...”
2 Thessalonians 2:9-12 NIV
“The Spirit clearly says that in the later times some will abandon the faith and follow deceiving spirits and things taught by demons.”
1 Timothy 4:1 NIV
“For the time will come when men will not put up with sound doctrine. Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear. They will turn their ears away from truth and turn aside to myths.
2 Timothy 4:3-4 NIV
* We believe this powerful delusion to be the UFO phenomenon”
And then the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord Jesus will overthrow
with the breath of his mouth and destroy with the splendor of his coming...”

“The fact that angels can appear as human indicates they have the ability to shape-shift. Abductees often report that their captors do this as well, often shifting from the appearance of a tall grey, to a beloved or deceased relative, to perhaps Jesus, to a Reptillian. Then they have sex with the person. Women frequently report that the aliens return within about 2 months to collect the fetus.
Note: Many UFO researchers prefer to distance their findings from the testimony of “contactees” or “abductees,” mainly to “avoid spirituality” or “kooks,” and to allegedly keep their published works in the realm of “science.” However, it is simply against logic to not ascribe the teachings of the ufonauts to the UFOs.”

THIS IS HOGWASH! THIS IS NOT SCRIPTURAL!
THIS IS THE DOCTRINE OF MEN!
THIS IS QUIX’S RECOMMENDED SITE.
UFOtheology? or 2000 years of Roman Catholic Faith built upon Scripture.
