1. Jesus is God, it is in the Bible more than once read the first chapter of John. There is only one God, not three.

2. Jesus who is all powerful, able to create is also able to protect. Plus if God did this on day four what is the longest amount of time the stars would be in any one location, microseconds.

For a side note, when words in the Bible end with the "eth" that means it is continual.
In other words the universe is still expanding as we can now record, which they were unable to do at the time of writing.

Here is the part that those with presuppositions that God does not exist and nothing created everything view, have to come to grips with.

Why do you make the presupposition that people who do not accept the young earth fantasy of yours reject creation?

God whose name is Jesus created it all in perfect working order 6000 years ago plus or minus a couple thousand years for error.

If it is all so clearly laid out in scripture, why do you need to invoke such wide error bands?

And another question. Do you worship God, or do you worship the King James Bible?

Lets take the car and start from the location that the stop watch is at and turn on the head lights and drive backwards for the ten miles and see how long it takes for the light to reach our stop watch.

If the stop watch can also measure red shift, you can not only tell how long it took the light, but also how fast the car is going.

Your point of the red shift does what?

Your statement only tells us that we can measure how fast the car is moving and in what direction.

No, it can tell us how how many light years distant it is. If you don't want to buy that, talk to Professor Einstein.

And your point in bringing up the car in reverse analogy is what... that somehow Earth is the center of the universe? Earth is on the distant fringe of our own galaxy which is not at the center of anything.

Why do you think God would act as you wish just to meet your self-centered logic? You do a disservice to the Bible, IMHO. You miss it's beauty, wisdom and faith in a childish search for literalism. That is a shallow faith that can be easily shaken.

Well that is an interesting question. I will give you what I believe is the answer.

The Bible makes the claim that it is the living word of God, not God but the word of God. It claims to be true, and we are to love the truth and hate lies.

I Timothy 2:"3": If any man teach otherwise, and consent not to wholesome words, even the words of our Lord Jesus Christ, and to the doctrine which is according to godliness;
"4": He is proud, knowing nothing, but doting about questions and strifes of words, whereof cometh envy, strife, railings, evil surmisings,
"5": Perverse disputings of men of corrupt minds, and destitute of'> the truth, supposing that gain is godliness: from such withdraw thyself.

The Bible must be the word of God true from cover to cover or it is not true at all. For you and I are not wise enough to pick what is truth and what is not.

With that in mind when reading the Bible you must take it a face value; meaning that if it says God created the heavens and earth in one 24 hour day than it is so. If the Bible is used as a chronology of genealogy then the approximate 6000 years since creation must be how it is. (I only put an error band for conservative sake, I do not believe it is much older that 6000 years myself).

It is not possible for evolutionary million and billions of years to be part of creation as then the words of Genesis are incorrect (not my belief and the visible evidence of this world supports my view more than that of evolution; also the Bible has never been proved wrong only misrepresented and misinterpreted).I worship Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior, and his word which is written within the pages of the KJV Bible is the truth; and I do love the truth.

As I said on the last post --- you look for childish absolutes in something written to feed the soul. Your faith is broad, but shallow and easily shaken.

Your proof that the Earth is where in the scope of the grand universe is what?; when science claims to know only 4% of the known universe.

You have done what is known as attack my character fallacy, that is if you can make me look like I am some fanatic because I believe that the word of God is literalism, so then what I say can not be true.

That is cool because I expect it;
Peter 3: Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts,
4: And saying, Where is the promise of his coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation.
5: For this they willingly are ignorant of, that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of the water and in the water:
6: Whereby the world that then was, being overflowed with water, perished:
7: But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men.

I must say again you have done nothing to prove your point, attacking my character does not make your point valid.

The visible evidence cries of the Glorious creator and not of billions of years of death and destruction.

And you no nothing of my faith as no man knows another's heart.

...when science claims to know only 4% of the known universe.

Slow down when you rant. [Science only knows 4% of the known Universe???????????]

BTW. Talk to some scientists some time. Most are God fearing people with a deep faith caused by the wonders they encounter. Science is not your enemy. Ignorance is.

The visible evidence cries of the Glorious creator...

We agree on that. I just think my vision is far more glorious than your young earth version.

You think you already know all of the answers because they were put on paper 2000 years ago. I think we have a very far way to go before we can even begin to begin to comprehend His creation and that we will never understand it all --- but He wants us to keep trying.

You think we should stop trying.

...attacking my character does not make your point valid.

I haven't attacked your chacter. But I have questioned the strength of your faith.

There is nothing that science can discover that would shake my faith in God the Creator. Your faith could be shaken at any moment.

Think about it.
