changes in Catholic doctrine such as the addition of a married priesthood

No excuse for such poor factual writing from Hudson.

Here is one of those nice people in Massachusetts:

http://pewlady.blogspot.com

Back in the day (2003), some dame tried to start up a chapter of VOTF in my parish. She was very into the whole crisis in the Church, despite the fact that there had been no abuse in my parish’s 140 year history and this has been born out in an extensive Diocesan investigation.

The short of it is that my pastor turned this VOTF lady down flat.

The pewlady hipped me to all the necessary information regarding VOTF and the heresy up in Mass (specifically) and in New England (in general) and I notified fellow parishioners. We got informed and pretty much built a firewall around our priest to protect him from this nutter.

Thanks Pewlady.

By the way, the wacky VOTF dame went along her way to be “ordained” as a priestess in some faux-catholic church.

My bad! I didn’t read down far enough to find out that he isn’t even or has never been a Catholic.

Since he wants to tear down religion, possibly he is an atheist. That seems to be what some of them want.

I use the term “secular humanists” for those who wish to undermine religion.

Some atheists do this as well, but I also know a fair amount of atheists and agnostics who simply do not know God. They don’t understand the concept and they don’t, as a matter of practice, try to tear down or undermine the beliefs of others.
