I have no personal knowledge of the leanings of the CofE clergy; I would hope that the vast majority of them are exactly as you describe.

Thanks for speaking. The one fellow I know personally who speaks against Islam the most strongly (though not often) is a former Muslim, now Christian. Yet I have some Muslim friends, varying from not-very-observant to quite observant, who are *nothing* like the stereotype extremists. (These are also all Iranians, btw.)

Then again, some members of the local CAIR I do not trust.
