That's up to the Lord!:)
I don't think you got that right.
And I don't think you can even PROVE what they are using the bible. Go ahead and try.
Urim Thurimm
"And I don't think you can even PROVE what they are using the bible. Go ahead and try."
I just happen to have the glasses that were used right here. Oops, I think I sat on them.
"Now where else can we take this thread? 8~)"
Look how far we've come.
Simple question:
Give the scripture that tells what color the Urim & Thummim were?
I've got four hours from Season 5 on DVD. But I ain't sharing 'em.
I am amazed xzins isn't it in your Bible?:)
I'll take that as an "I don't know the color of the Urim & Thummim based on scripture."
Here's another question:
What bible scripture tells the size and shape of the Urim and Thummim?
Did they shoot the daughter? Please tell me they did so I can tell my poor sick wife! I'm sure that will lift her spirits.
I've found it to be much more important to remain in fellowship with God through faith in Christ, while we read and study Scripture.
All of our sanctification comes from His grace and His work.
By our reading the LOGOS or His Word, our thinking processes or soul, while we are in fellowship with Him, are in a state of proper faith that allows God in His grace to act upon us to make that thinking in our souls, a sanctifying process, and also allows the Holy Spirit to make that thinking understood by our spirit. In this fashion we grow in both sanctification and in our human spirit.
Without the revelation of God, i.e. His Word, His Logos, the thinking process we entertain isn't such that the Holy Spirit is free to continue that sanctification process within us.
By no means does this imply we control God, rather our thinking, decisions and behavior can control our situation such that the one and only immutable God we seek to have fellowship with, might be placed in a situation where if we are out of fellowship with Him, His immutable nature doesn't allow Him to further sanctify us until we return to Him.
Accordingly, it isn't as significant whether or not a particular variation of the Bible is argued about, as much as it is important we remain in fellowship with God through faith in Christ and let Him do the work of sanctification.
Our Lord loves to take a faithful believer who is in a desolate environment, yet by faith remains in fellowship with Him, and He in turn is free to make waht ever portion of His entire Creation available to further that believer's sanctification.
Reroute your uplink and I'll patch the info on to your secondary unit.
Right after lunch.
NO xzins, that is you trying to put words in other mouth!:)
You really do seem to have pompous attitude about your seminary degree!
Starting Friday, June 16 Fox will re-broadcast 24 Season 5 two hours at a time.
Why is it pompous to ask you for a scripture reference?
Either it's there.
Or it's not.
Thanks, Corin. Setting dials as we speak.
Do not make it personal.
Actually, I'm far more pompous about my master of science. :>)
In any case, I did put words in your mouth because you did not answer the question.
What bible scripture tells the color of the Urim & Thummim?
(And the bible verse for shape and size?)
Let's add a new one:
What bible scripture tells the texture of the Urim & Thummim?
That's all well and good, but did they shoot the daughter?
And if I uplink the download do I get pictures? And how do I turn the whatsit on in the first place?
