Were you born an ignorant, obnoxious and clueless puke - or do you have to work at it?

One of the things I've noticed on religious threads is that Catholics tend to respond with anger and vitriol while Christians tend to respond with compassion and scripture. Yeah, I have a clue...that's why I am no longer a Catholic.

Liberal Catholics--the ones who spout about "the spirit of Vatican II" but seem nver to have read its actual documents--hate Opus Dei. It is somewhat like the Jesuits were in the beginning, St. Ignatius wasn't exactly "sweet-natured" either. He was a Spanish soldier who "got religion."

Perhaps you could take a stand on the bigoted and ignorant attacks on the Catholic Church as well. Is that too much to ask?

Anyone posting on NativistRepublic for more than a week should already know the answer to that one!
