That's true. But that doesn't automatically mean that he was sleeping with his current BF then.

I saw an interview with him where he made a couple of interesting statements. One was that he was with a group of boys that passed around a Playboy when he was 14. He said that (I paraphrase) "I knew that I was reacting differently to that than the rest of the boys were, and I also knew that it would be best for me if I didn't say that." Another was that he said that he told his then-fiance before he was married that he suspected that he might be homosexual; she said that they'd deal with that if it became an issue.

Your pain is widely felt and I sympathize. There is no easy solution to the dilemma that you and others are facing. But I think the best answer was written by one of my favorite bloggers Al Kimel. He was a priest in ECUSA in one of the most conservative diocese. He made the very hard choice to leave. Ultimately his spiritual journey landed him in the Catholic Church. My journey has taken me in another direction, but I respect his decision. I think his web site and its archives in which he talks about the problems in ECUSA and the way it tormented him is well worth a look. I particularly recommend this essay.

Oh, I never said that. I have no idea. I'm just saying that I'm told he didn't take up with his current BF until after he'd divorced.

My impression is that he has been coloring outside the lines for a while now. Quotes I have seen from him seem very self-centered and self-serving. I'd guess he "indulged himself" in other ways as well, and sex outside of his marriage seems in character from what I have heard. It also seems to follow logically from his circumstance. He has shared way too much about his sexuality so far has he explicitly denied having sex with someone else before he was divorced, I wonder?
