I think this is an excellent article although I might disagree with a few minor points. (I personally believe in SOME cases people seeing angels.)

Whenever Christians move beyond what we are called to do (spread and teach the gospel) I think we're heading for trouble. Luther and Calvin were proponents of Christians interjecting themselves into society and I'm sure we would all agree that we see this trend in today's church. While I think Luther and Calvin were right to some extent, I think the church has gone way overboard on this to a point where we have replaced our Christian focus with a socialist focus. At the risk of sounding like I'm criticizing Warren, Warren is an extension of this socialist belief, IMO.

Here is a better article because it references many Bible verses.

BTW Harley,
There is no bad feelings toward you from yesterday,s Catholic thread.I just think that many people don,t have a complete understand of the Catholic faith.
I for one don,t like denominational arguments.

Your Brother in Christ.

Oh, I would say Warren realizes it, since he uses the Carl Jung materials himself in his books.

If you have any knowledge of me you'll know that I take nothing personal and I'm an insensitive lug. I'm only out here to discuss doctrines and viewpoints. I actually spend more time arguing with Protestants than Catholics.

You are always free to yell at me, call me a heretic, or tell me I'm way off base in my views. Others have. Why should you be any different? :O)

That doesn't mean we still can't be friends.
