You'll notice from the website that there are only 7 congregations in the whole U.S. and 5 of them are in Texas! I intend to write - who knows, maybe someone, somewhere will see that this can be a real opportunity for discouraged Anglo-Catholics to find a home in the Roman Catholic church. They will never know how strongly we feel unless we tell them(and we should, of course, pray about it).

It is my understanding that the Book of Divine Worship was approved by then-Cardinal Ratzinger. Knowing how appreciative of beauty in liturgy and music he is, I would think that he would be very sympathetic to us. Anyway, it can't hurt to try!

P.S. Go to the website for Our Lady of the Atonement and order a Book of Divine Worship. It is taken directly from the Book of Common Prayer, both 1979 and 1928. You'll be glad you did!
