However - a little P.S. here, the Bible does say:

Romans 3:3, 4 "What if some did not have faith? Will their lack of faith nullify God's faithfulness? Not at all! Let God be true, and every man a liar. As it is written: “So that you may be proved right when you speak and prevail when you judge."

and

Romans 2:15 "the requirements of the Law are written on their hearts [everyone's hearts], their consciences also bearing witness, and their thoughts now accusing, now even defending them."

Have you read CS Lewis's Mere Christianity? That is a transcription of radio talks on the subject of how he came to believe that it was the Truth.

You may find it interesting. It's not a hard read but he has that pleasant somewhat rambling British style that you may have to get used to.

Hello--- IT'S FICTION! The religious equivalent of Whitley Streiber.

The author states at the beginning of the book that it is historically accurate and while fiction, the historical information is true. He's full of crap, of course. He couldn't even get the date right for the discovery of the Dead Sea Scrolls. His claim that it's historically accurate is what has people upset. I've met a few who take him at his word and believe it, so I can't blame people for wanting to point out the errors.
