This touched my heart and spirit. May Holy Spirit quicken it to your heart and spirit according to His priorities for you.

"If you abide in MY word, you are my disciples indeed. And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall set you free." At some point the Body of Christ is going to have to accept that The Word is just that: A Word!
When the centurion found Jesus to heal his servant, he asked Jesus to merely speak the Word and his servant would be healed. Somehow, just don't believe Jesus recited all 66 books of the Bible, nor even the five books of Moses...

Am not totally clear on your point. However, I do believe that THE PRINTED TEXT is NOT God nor even a fitting idol.
The Living Word Jesus is The Father's focus.

LOL, the Word is just that: A WORD [Ohm, Amen, Jesus, Yeshua] The Lord needs to tell us what It is/was?????????

Your crypticness still achieves some lack of clarity, if not confusion . . .
What do you mean with:
The Lord needs to tell us what It is/was?????????
Words are 'just' words. However, God has invested some considerable power in some words. And some considerable importance in some others.
At the Name of Jesus, every knee shall bow; every tongue confess that Jesus The Christ is Lord of Lords and King of Kings.
I suspect I may still not get your point.
though I'm not really trying to be thickheaded.

You're not thickheaded, or wouldn't be bringing this up.
Logos means word, singular; a word. Therefore a specific word.
The early church had tremedous supernatural power because of that Word. Until it is rediscovered Christianity is merely liberal-like feelgoodism.

Maybe I should have posted a bit more of John 1.
1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
2 The same was in the beginning with God.
3 All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.
4 In him was life; and the life was the light of men.
5 And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.
6 There was a man sent from God, whose name was John.
7 The same came for a witness, to bear witness of the Light, that all men through him might believe.
8 He was not that Light, but was sent to bear witness of that Light.
9 That was the true Light, which lighteth every man that cometh into the world.
10 He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not.
11 He came unto his own, and his own received him not. 12 But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:
13 Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.
14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.
Now for the verse you posted:
Rev. 19: 13 And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God.
Yes, this one and the same Jesus Christ. When he came the first time he was the sacrificial lamb of God. When he returns, he will be the lion of God's wrath.

Hey silly rabbit, I think you know, I have an extreme distaste for coy games.
If you have something to say about THE WORD, please, by all means,
OUT WITH IT!

LOL, Quix your more crazy than I am--poor brother.
Don't know about you but folks are poppin' up interested in praying in tongues--YabbaDabbaDoo praying.
Isn't that so bizarre that one of God's greatest gifts--is so inexplicable [no pun]?

[AND A PING TO THE DREAMS, VISIONS, END-TIMES PING LIST]
I'd have been lost and probably dead long ago without praying in tongues.
I find that God is often into confounding the wisdom of man with His 'foolishness.'
I see you decline to explain any further about THE WORD.
Very frustrating!
Blessings, anyway.

I suspect her soul is in great shape and well in the care of Our Lord.
Those around her with evil in their hearts are the ones needing the prayers, however.
