WOW!
Praise God for the men and women our faith has surrounded itself with to repel those who would dare to think they can challenge the will of the Blessed Trinity that the sacred body of The One True Faith: The Roman Catholic Church.
Thank you for the very kind compliment, Canticle_of_Deborah. Your help to me in getting through this task was essential to getting it right.
It's good to stand with you, Debbie, and all traditional Roman Catholics who have the will and commitment to resist the evil in this life born of Satan, no matter where we find it.
This explanation of the Holy Mass was penned by someone very close to God. It is indeed a somber and reverent reflection of the understanding traditional Roman Catholics have for the Tridentine Mass.
God willing, this thread will be copied and shared everywhere.

This is beautiful, thank you for all your hard work! We can only hope and pray that in the future God and the Holy Father will grace us with a more wider use of the Old Mass.
My, my, my... where have I seen this before? ;-)

Welcome!
Many thanks to you and to Robert for this post! I have seen similar written explanations/analyses of the Tridentine mass - but this is the first which shows a clear side by side comparison of Christ's passion & death as realted to the actions of the mass.
If this mass were still perfomred in every parish church, this would be a very wonderful and simple primer for both children and adults as to the purpose of hte mass and its parts/actions. And very useful to instruct potential converts.
Sadly, this is not what we see in our churches.
Did you write this? If you did, great job! If not, then thank you very much for sharing this!
Agh, sorry. I didn't see your other post. Nevertheless, thanks for posting!
You are quite welcome. I liked the comparison so much I wanted to share it here on FR.

I've never seen the Mass broken down in such a beautiful and succinct manner before!
Already knowing that the True Mass is the unbloody re-enactment of Christ's Crucifixion on Calvary, it didn't dawn on me the comparison of the elevation of the Host to the raising of the Cross. It brought tears to my eyes.
Thank you, Deb and Robert for bringing this beautiful post to us. I'm going to save it and disperse it.

Absolutely wonderful, thank you.
