Roman Catholic

I don't think so.

A Roman Catholic doesn't post, It doesn't matter who they rape or molest, as long as they say the novus ordo

A real Catholic wouldn't attack that which is the most holy in the Church (the Eucharistic Sacrifice) and connect it to a perversion condemned throughout the 2000 years of the Church's Tradition.

Think about it.

I don't think 0% is achievable

Absolutely right! 0% is not achievable as long as we carry the effects of the original sin.

If 50% of priests are gay, and 15% of that group is sexually active, then, extrapolated, at least 30%

You did it backwards. 15% of 1/2 is 7.5%.

Bishop Doran was "supportive," Father Haley says, but he told the priest, "We cannot discuss the homosexual issue because there are people above us who don't think it's a problem."

That is a VERY STRANGE statement.

The truth sometimes hurts. Explain to me why these bishops and cardinals who have done so much damage to innocent children have not been reprimanded. Why is Bishop Ryan of Illinois (who hired male prostitutes) still allowed to administer the Sacraments to children? Why was Cardinal Law (who covered up for molesters at the expense of children) promoted? Why is Reggie Cawcutt, who was cruising gay porn sites, not defrocked? Can you answer any of these questions? If you can't, then maybe you should reconsider questioning who is Catholic and who isn't.

In the considered opinion of many Traditional Catholics, the new "mass" is neither holy nor sacrificial. A "real" Catholic would never defend a "mass" that simply tosses out almost 2000 years of the Church's REAL Tradition.

Dear sinkspur,

"If 50% of priests are gay, and 15% of that group is sexually active, then, extrapolated, at least 30% of Catholic priests are homosexually active, to say nothing of how many heterosexual priests may be sexually active."

Actually, if 15% [sexually active] of 50% [priests who are homosexual], then you get 7.5% [sexually active, all priests].

Did you mean to say that 30% of homosexual priests are sexually active, meaning that 15% of all priests are homosexually active?

Dear sinkspur,

I should have read the whole thread before posting. ;-)

Anyway, I'm not sure I agree with your premises.

It is the Novous Ordo the must be removed. They are the Socialist Hijackers of the Catholic Church, Sort of the "PROGRESSIVE" Party that the DUmmo's now want to be called. No matter what Label is on the outside the Same Liberal Socialist Crap on the Inside.

I'm sorry, and I know some of my fellow Catholics will revile me for this, but given the gravity and senseless tragedy of the situation, you HAVE to have a Pope who is accountable, who can answer DIRECT questions at a press conference on issues like this. You can't duck and hide behind the walls of the palatial Vatican when in case after case after case there are predatory homosexuals parading around as Catholic priests doing damage to innocent young people and the reputation and integrity of the Catholic Church.

Every cardinal, bishop, and priest who refuses to deal with this situation openly and honestly is part of the problem. The sodomites are gutting the Catholic Church. The costs are astronomical and the damage is catastrophic for the entire civilization. It has to be stopped.

The USCCB is a travesty and a farce. It's time to end the masquerade crossdressing ball. Get rid of the buggers.

Looks like things are going to get very "interesting" in my Diocese (Arlington, VA)! Zip on any of this being reported in The Arlington Catholic Herald. I'm wondering if Loverde is another Peter Lee (the "bishop" of the ECUSA's diocese of Virginia).

The Novus Ordo does not "toss out" tradition. All of the basic elements of the Mass are still there, and reflect a return to the outlines of the Mass as found in the early Church.

No, it is not the novus ordo rite. It is clergymen committing sin with protection and without discipline. In the case of some, it is priests who do not accept what the Church teaches about sexual morality. It is time to cleanse the temple. There does seem to be a double standard, with the book being thrown at Fr. Haley and a slap in the wrist at those active in a homosexual lifestyle or enabling such.

Vatican II needs to be repealed, and the Church must return to the Tridentine Mass and the Catichism of Trent

So, you're seriously saying that the "basic elements" of the Mass of the "early Church" was conducted in English and had women serving communion cookies by hand, accompanied by recorded music? Interesting historical perspective, to say the least.
