I would do better to compose a more thoughtful response giving you my opinion on your assertions and observations tomorrow (hopefully I will have time). That is, of course, unless you are uninterested. "Your move". :-) - GirlShortstop

Please do provide a response. I am interested in how a Roman Catholic defends the diversity of views within the RCC, especially concerning changes brought by Vatican II. Please feel free to take your time, as I have taken days to respond to your last post.

This is my 1st time at FR in days.

FYI The city of Buffalo has a large black Catholic community .
I have 4 Catholic churches within a 2-5 minute drive from my home .
2 more with in a 10 minute drive. Each of those parishes have about 1-3 thousand families .

On my street there are 3 non Catholic families .

To be exact a recent survey put the Black community at about 35% .

You are right the last count (2002) on registered Catholics is 45%

I used my very Catholic democratic neighborhood as a base. (Our wards went for Hillary and Clinton (both times)

We have not 1 Republican in city government


BTW Herm I did not understand your whining FR mail till I came to my page to check replies.
I went to read yours figuring it was related to the wise crack , and the post was removed.

I did not ask to have it removed , I would have left it in place as it said far more about you than me .
