On the Right Side

"As Easy as ABC "
The world, including America, will listen to anything, promote anything, and endure anything no matter how ludicrous, harmful or perverted. Anything but Christianity, that is. The rules are as easy as ABC: Anything BUT Christianity.
This was brought home to me once again last week. Our house guest Michele Malkin of the Washington Post wrote: "Six months ago, Jack Moody tried to send his son, Daniel, a care package containing a Bible study and other Christian religious materials. Daniel is a 21-year-old Army National Guardsman serving in the Middle East. He had written home requesting spiritual support while he risked his life abroad. The literature his dad packed included Christian comic books. But when Daniel's dad approached the Post Office in the family's hometown of Lenoir, N.C., he was told he would not be allowed to send the items.
According to U.S. Postal Service Bulletin 22097, section E2, Mr. Moody was forbidden from sending any matter containing religious materials contrary to Islamic faith. The postal clerk informed Mr. Moody the package's Christian contents might be considered offensive to some Muslims overseas." Meanwhile, Saudi Arabia is sending dozens of Wahabe Islam clerics into America, building hundreds of mosques, and infiltrating our armed forces with al Qaeda operatives. We may not send Bibles to our own troops in Saudi Arabia, but Saudi Arabia can do whatever they wish. Too bad the "whatever they wish" is our destruction.
India is passing laws forbidding its Hindu "Untouchables" from converting to Christianity. All government benefits and protections will cease for converts, and those found guilty of converting will be sentenced to four years in prison. Its practically a death sentence because Indian prisons are nothing like American prisons.
The problem with an Untouchables conversion is political and economic. In Hinduism, the only way an Untouchable can improve his life is by being a very obedient Untouchable in this life. He must endure every tyranny the higher castes heap upon him, and work for a "promotion" to a higher caste in the next life. Its a perfect system for keeping people in their place, while permanently maintaining benefits for those who rule. Its little wonder why Untouchables see hope in Christ. Its understandable why higher castes want conversions stopped. Sweden passed a constitutional amendment this year making criticism of homosexuality a crime, punishable by up to four years in jail. Expressing a Biblical objection to homosexual activity is illegal, even in church.
Before we get angry with Swedes, Moslems and Hindus in far away places, wed better look just north of our border. Canada has issued laws that punish any and all Christian "hate speech."
Being against hate speech doesnt sound so bad. The problem is, any literature that criticizes an immoral lifestyle and urges repentance is hate speech. A quote from the Bible is nearly always termed "hate speech" for its instruction, admonition, and correction. Nearly all American ministers have been banned from Canadas radio and television airwaves because they continue to speak out against sin. The fact that they offer healing is overlooked. People dont want healed of something they like to do, even if its killing them.
British Columbia teacher Chris Kempling was fined a months pay for writing a letter to a newspaper editor that criticized homosexual activity. Letters to the editor were once considered a mainstream freedom in Canada. No more. Editorials can criticize, denigrate, or even lie about Christians, but not about other groups.
Last week David Limbaughs book Persecution: How Liberals Are Waging War Against Christianity hit the bookstores. It documents the harassment of Americas Christian school children. If Christianity can successfully be destroyed in Americas young, it will be destroyed permanently.
Here are just two of the dozens of recent incidents.
"In a public school in St. Louis, a teacher spotted the suspect, fourth-grader Raymond Raines, bowing his head in prayer before lunch. The teacher stormed to Raymond's table, ordered him to stop immediately and sent him to the principal's office. The principal informed the young malefactor that praying was not allowed in school. When Raymond was again caught praying before meals on three separate occasions, he was segregated from other students, ridiculed in front of his classmates, and finally sentenced to a week's detention."
"Thanks to the vigilance of an alert teacher at Lynn Lucas Middle School outside of Houston, two sisters carrying Bibles were prevented from bringing their vile material into a classroom. The teacher stopped the students at the classroom door and marched them to the principal's office. The sisters' mother was called and warned that the school intended to report her to Child Protective Services. When the mother arrived, the teacher threw the Bibles in the wastebasket, shouting, "This is garbage!"
One hopeful note for Christians. It seems that governments are acknowledging Christianity as the only true church.
One bad note: It is the only faith, the only belief, the only practice persecuted in the so-called "separation of church and state" debate.

U.S.P.S. (post office) screening "offensive to Muslims" material OUT OF PERSONAL MAIL SENT TO American Servicemen and Women in Iraq.
Plese ping your list on this one.
It's documented in David Limbaugh's book "Persecution":
Kim Gilliland, "Postal Service Faces Lawsuit, Lenoir soldier's family: Regulations violate reigious freedom,"The Hickory Daily Record, April 8, 2003.
Overseas Military Mail
RESTRICTIONS
E2. Any matter containing religious materials contrary to Islamic faith or depicting nude or seminude persons, pornographic or sexual items, or nonauthorized political materials is prohibited.
Straight from the U.S.P.C. code > > Christian material offensive to Islam is not permitted to be recieved by Americans serving in uniform in Muslim nations. (Serving under the peril of losing their lives and in need of their own spiritual comfort as well, I might add.)
Wonder, if Christians were imprisoned at GITMO, would they be allowed chaplains?
E2. Any matter containing religious materials contrary to Islamic faith or depicting nude or seminude persons, pornographic or sexual items, or nonauthorized political materials is prohibited.
Christianity is not mentioned. So I am going to keep sending it.
Good question! I did see on 60 Minutes 1 or 2 that the Gitmo prisoners get all the Islam literature they want, prayer rugs and directions to Mecca, plus the prayer call-thing however many time per day.
We seem to accommodate Islamofacsists prisoners here more than they accommodated our prisoners in Iraq...
In fact, we seem to accommodate Islamofascists everywhere than they or even our government accommodate Christians.
Roger that!

'Final Solution,' Phase 2 ~
Time to ban Islamofascism from America.
I was in Desert Storm inside Saudi Arabia in 1991.
Part of the Status of Forces Agreement the Saudis had with us (prior to allowing us to step foot inside their hell-hole), was to unconditionally allow the proselyting of Christians by Muslim clerics inside military compounds.
I saw it first-hand. The clerics set up several large tents right inside our compounds and preached Islam.
Guess what the penalty for an American soldier was for preaching Christianity to a muslim.
DEATH!
Believe it, our very own United States Postal Service has bowed to the political muscle of Islam to the spiritual detriment of our own military servicemembers.
Hard to belive, I know.
During WWII the U.S. government sponsored the publication and distribution of small pocket Bibles to all servicemen. Back then we fought for "God and country", now we fight for THEIR God and our country. Weird, eh?
