I only hope I can make it to the other old stadium (Fenway Park) before they tear that place down. I went there the summer after high school graduation and it was every bit as wonderful as I thought it would be. Do try to get there. You won't be sorry.
Got to see Luis Tiant pitch against Catfish Hunter and Rollie Fingers come in on relief. I had my very first stadium beer at Fenway.
I know what you mean about having to hate the Cubs a few times a year. I rooted for the Astros at Wrigley, but the fans didn't mind. :)

The fans didn't mind when Harry Caray left off the "Root, root, root for the Cubbies" when the Brewers were in the AL and interleague play (a Pope Bud I abomination) was just starting, but now that the Brewers are in the same division, they really get on your case for wearing Brewer Blue south (which is as it should be :-)
NFL update:
Baltimore 16, Arizona 7.
Hit-and-run executed almost perfectly by Castillo to move Pierre to 2nd. Runner on 2nd and 2 out for Pudge.
