The altitude of the pitch was at least a foot below Garcia's head. And threatening Pedro's life while taking five minutes to walk to first is not OK. Following it up by beating up a groundskeeper and trying to break Todd Walker's legs is also NOT OK. I would say "even a Yankees fan can't condone that", but I don't like to lie.</>

I don't recall commenting on Garcia's action. It appears from your response, you are defending Pedro with the actions of Garcia. Thats equivilent to the politician saying everybody does it.

Look, Garcia had every right to be ticked off. He didn't charge the mound with a bat in his hand like Manny did. Garcia had no business going into the bull pen and participating in whatever happened to the groundskeeper. He was wrong to do so. He had every right to take out Walker on the double play ball. Its his job to take him out. There was nothing illegal about his hard slide.

Bottom line, Pedro should have been tossed and his threatening to throw at additional batters' heads was blatently bush league. Pedro once again proved he's a punk, that cares nothing about anyone else but Pedro. He cares more about his contract than he does about winning or his teamates's wellbeing. If you can't separate reality from partisan allegience to one's team, that's understandable, but not excusable.
