Pedro vs Roger. Two of the greatest pitchers to ever play the game. Fenway Park is rocking. Electricity is in the air. Here we go...

Okay. You weren't commenting with respect to my (careless) impression of Torres' comment.

Zip ran at Pedro and tried to hit him with a left hook. Pedro pushed him aside and Zip fell down. Seems like justice was served. I agree.

That isn't how it will play when the video is showing over and over on all the sports shows. People will see an old man getting man handled... Yup.

2. I don't think Pedro actually hit Garcia. I saw it hit the bat (in the beginning). Your right. Garcia ducked and it hit his bat first before the ball touched him, so it's a foul ball. The home umpire got it wrong.

A HBP should not have been awarded to Garcia.

I agree.

I don't believe in any of that superstition stuff. And it's a little early in this 7 game series to crown the Yankees the with the Pennant. Wanna bet? Only Chicago stands between the Yankees and another World Series Championship. The Sox are done.

I watching ESPN news and I just saw Zimmer being taken away in an ambulance. Since he was laughing in the dugout after the incident on the field, I can't imagine that any injury suffered then had anything to do with it.
I'm prayin' for Zim.

Not going to bet. That's what the A's thought too.
If the BoSox go down, I'm pulling for the Cubbies to defeat them.

Too much excitement for old Zim's old ticker.

Thanks for the news. -- Prayers for Zimmer from here as well.

Pedro was head hunting. He assumed that another professional athelete could move his head in time.
Pedro was telling his teammates "I f**ked up boys, but I'm not a potted plant here and Yankee trash gotta get plunked!"
If he has one more chance to grab the ball, that's a Bosox win GUARAN DAM TEED.

Ah, that's a relief.

Does Pedro Martinez study martial arts? That move looked like something from aikido or judo.

Congrats on your weight loss, and your classy demeanor. I'm glad to see a Red Sox fan who spoke out against how Pedro behaved today.

...I can't imagine that any injury suffered then had anything to do with it. Maybe the gerbil talked to his lawyer from the dugout phone.

My analysis:
Normar must be dropped in the order. He's terrible.
Pedro is a punk and a whiny little b*tch. He's an embarassment to the Red Sox. Sure there's been a headhunting history this year with Pedro and Clemens, but for crying out loud, this is a playoff game. He started it.
Zimmer went after Pedro. From what I saw, he attempted a punch. Pedro grabbed him and throw him aside, he fell. Zim's fault, hope the geezer is ok.
Clemens threw in on Manny, not at his head. Manny is an a-hole. Notice he started barking, waited for the benches to empty, then got aggressive. Real tough guy.
Bullpen incident. Heard a caller on Boston sports radio say he was a friend of the grounds crew worker involved. Please note, this is not verified. Apparently the guy shown on tv works in the bullpen raking the mounds between pitchers warming up. He was waving a towel during the bottom of the 8th and Jeff Nelson said something to him. Words exchanged, push came to shove, and the guy's arrested. No word on how Garcia got injured. We will never know what REALLY happened.
