"Sounds like a scam to me. Unfortunately, you've probably also downloaded much spyware."No, instead of downloading Kazaa, I went with Kazaa-Lite. Kazaa-Lite is just like Kazaa, but with no spyware.
I did at first download Kazaa. Then, did a scan with Pest Patrol. It found 130 spies, bugs or what ever, just in Kazaa. I deleted them all, then deleted Kazaa. That is one program you don't ever need to download.

I had been using Kazaa for the longest time, spyware-free. Then they came out with a mandatory version update, which came bundled with 3 other software programs. If you deleted the rogue files, Kazaa wouldn't work properly. It was a huge mess, and it took me a while to really clean everything out.
