[history]
The gods of humility have a way of paying a visit to all of us eventually, when we are too sure of ourselves or too full of ourselves the gods of humility come knocking at the door.
As one who has been paid such a visit I could tell you it is rarely welcome and rarely unneeded. The humility gods came knocking on Rush Limbaugh's door today. Surely it was humbling for Mr. Limbaugh to tell his audience that he is a drug addict, no different really than the drug addicts he has condemned along the way.

... anyone get the feeling these three are gloating and would love to see Rush taken off in shackles? ...

For CNN to bring this cockroach on to spew his detritus on a night like this is despicable.
But, it's typical Aaron-Brown-modus-operandi.
Which is why I haven't tuned into CNN (except for the occasional Lou Dobbs) in two years.

FRANKEN: Well, he called my friend Jerry Garcia just a dead doper when he died. To think that Rush and Jerry Garcia were addicted for the same reason is ludicrous ...

But, it's typical Aaron-Brown-modus-operandi. Well, like they say on Fox ... "Aaron Brown looks just like my dentist". I guess he was really hurt by that.

Al Franken is a well known cocains addict...or was, when he was on SNL. He's said so himself.
Recreational dope use is a far cry, from getting addicted to prescribed meds.

Brown is a puke. His self-righteousness is disgusting. Which is why he hovers in MSNBC ratings territory.
What a worthless POS.

Bunny,
I know the title made it pretty obvious, but a "barf alert" would have been appropriate. I have believed for quite a while that Al Franken was one of the most obnoxious jerks wasting oxygen on the planet and this just adds confirmation (not that I needed any.)

If Kathy Couric was addicted and Fox News had Rush Limbaugh and Newt Gingrich on to weigh in on her addiction I'm sure the libs would say "how hateful conservatives are"! "We sould never be so insensitive".
They may as well have had a party!

I saw this here in Taiwan,
and the three of them were seething with satisfaction and glee.
High on the dream of bringing down Limbaugh
and all they twist as to what Rush's audience is.
They are disgusting liberal liars.

"Recreational dope use is a far cry, from getting addicted to prescribed meds."
However, purchasing prescribed drugs without a prescription is the same as possession of illegal drugs.
Unfortunately, Rush may have some real legal problems in front of him.

Yes, you're correct.
But, if old " perky " were addicted to prescsribed meds, I bet that most of us would NOT be slamming her. There's the BIG difference. :-)
To: Kerberos
No question Rush had a big ugly secret. And he broke the law. What I question about this show is that they would call upon the guy who wrote a book titled "RUSH LIMBAUGH IS A BIG FAT IDIOT" to critique his addiction. I find it outrageous!
To: BunnySlippers
Wolfe, Brown, Franken.
Liberal, liberal, liberal.
Scum, scummier and scummiest.

No, it is HIGHLY doubtful that Rush is facing any sort of legal problems. We don't know, for a fact, that he even purchased any illegally. And even IF he has, the Florida police have already said that he isn't part of their investigation/suit.
To: BunnySlippers
To think that Rush and Jerry Garcia were addicted for the same reason is ludicrous ...Does it matter why someone became addicted?

Yeah but that's just the media. Rush is a big figure in the media so everybody and his brother, particularly if they have ever said anything that could be remotely construed as anti-Rush, is going to be trying to jump on this bandwagon.

I have listened to him enough, read enough books on him, that he is always -- he's a dishonest demagogue. Does Franken understand we think the same of him.
