Even the explosive qualities of Liquid Natural Gas tankers are greatly exaggerated.

I am not sure. I talk to celebrated energy counsultant who tells me studies of explosive damage take into account only an explosion of 1/5 of a tanker, which is worst accident probable. In terrorist explosion well planned, all of tanker could explode leading much bigger explosion.

I strongly suspect that the various U.S. Navy sub squadrons have been planning for this kind of thing for some time.

If we have to, we'll have no problem sending one of these ships to the bottom. Remember, ships is slow.
