I must give Richard W(Arete) credit. He sticks to his guns. He is not narrow minded. Just blinded by the need to be vindicated. I am in total disagreement with him, but I respect him for his vigor.
My business delivers full-color printed pieces to consumers. Our operation has no printing presses, no warehouse, no artists, no platemakers, no proofers. No production personnel at all, as a matter of fact we have no product to sell whatsoever. Yet we still deliver on time, every time.
Does that mean we are not in the business? Nope. We assemble what we need, when we need. A very 80's concept. The accronym is JIT. Just in Time. Any production can be done this way. Including WMD.

I believe the report delivered by Mr. Kay shows that the previous Iraqi government was doing just that.

The minimum Kay's findings prove, beyond a shadow of a doubt, is that Iraq was STILL in breach of all 16 UN resolutions since 1991, including 1441. Not to mention the Gulf War cease fire agreement and the fact that firing on planes in the no-fly zones alone constituted an act of war against the coalition.

I agree. The evidence is there. Clinton's SOD Cohen dropped a report on Pres. Bush's desk on the way out of the WH, published in part by the NY Times on Jan. 22, 2001 - re. Saddam Hussein's probable continuing pursuit of WMDs, labs could be set up, precursor chems ready for mixing, delivery systems waiting - along with trained personnel, to create and deliver WMDs in little time.

This is basically the thesis that Kenneth Pollack gives for what Saddam/Iraq was doing
in regards to WMD.
Getting poised to rapidly synthesize the compounds as soon as the world looked away
or as needed.
