VANITY: The "Truth" about JimRob and Free Republic according to BADJOE

Dear Free Republic Friends,

My old friend and brother-in-arms BADJOE has promised to warm the cockles of our hearts by publishing an expose (the truth about JimRob and Free Republic according to Joe) on the 18th of this month, which represents the one year anniversary of the date he last posted to FreeRepublic.com and started up with LibertyPost.org.

So, as I believe that only the truth can set you free, and based upon the stratergery of pre-emptive strike, I have a confession to make (before BADJOE makes it public):

I have poisoned the well.

By my sly innuendos behind the scenes.

By my intellectual ineptitude.

By not trusting those that brung me to the dance to bring me home.

By my biting every hand that fed me.

By my arrogance that causes me to think I did it all by myself.

By my stubborness not because of principle, but because of my lack of ability to see what is transpiring.

Evidenced by:

One would think that with half again as many Freepers. with a recovering economy, It would take a great deal less time to raise the necessary funds.

By this time in the June 2002 effort with a goal of $70,000 we had raised $73,000. Not because of who did the fundraising, but because the sense of purpose, of family, of comaraderie, was still present.

BADJOE rang the warning bell, but none heard.

Conclusion:

It is a sad day.

For what was once a great hope, a means of bringing together those who are willing to pay dearly in blood, sweat, and money to save this country, we all love, has been reduced to an asterisk.

So sayeth BADJOE as he promises to publish all this and much more on the 18th. He's been feverishly working on this "project" for one full year. In addition to the "truth about JimRob" BADJOE intends to further betray our trust placed in him by revealing the names of our moderators. And who knows what else?

I can hardly wait.

Is it the 18th yet? Tick, tock.

Oops, you're right, I didn't mean it like that. lol Crow actually wrote a critique of Servo and read it. It was funny, he kept referring to him as a Eunich. LOL

Thanks! At first I was thinking it was that Elizabeth Smart that got kidnapped... wasn't that this year as well? I know those threads had a lot of scorched patches on them...

Thankfully, I'm not interested in those regional crime stories so I've never waded through those threads. The Bryant case is quasi-regional but involves a nationwide phenomenom of celebrities getting away with a possible crime (like with OJ) so that does interest me.

Not that there's any excuse for rudeness, but not all conservatives are Christians, and not all atheists are liberals.

There are many conservatives who ARE Christians, but there are also conservatives who are Jewish, Muslim, and non-believers. Some of these are social conservatives; some are more libertarian socially but are conservative because they believe in a limited role of government and lower taxes.

One problem with some of the people on this site (and I'm not necessarily saying that you're one of them) is they think people must believe exactly as they do, or the others are "not worthy" or not "true conservatives".

One hallmark of conservatives is that we do think for ourselves; much as some liberals hate it, most of us are not "mind-numbed robots".

No, I am not nailing myself to any cross. The insults poured on me for trying to solve the problem of the abuse of Christians on this forum shows very well that I am correct. The evasions, threats, insults, of the management of this forum in response to my complaints show them to be completely in cahoots with the atheists which are terrorizing Christians.

Don't matter when it started. Fact is that Jim Robinson has shown complete hypocrisy when he was pointed out the slanderous, abusive post of an atheist. In the meantime he calls civil attempts at ending the abuse of Christians slander. He has shown very well that he has taken sides with the atheists on this forum.

No, the comments being levied upon you prove only that you are acting like a querulous crybaby. If you don't find FreeRepublic to your liking, then I would suggest that you find another forum where views such as yours would be better received.

(And make sure they all wear curly-toed shoes - can't tell a Taliban from a plain old garden-variety Puritan without those curly-toed shoes).
