Well, the more the Demos talk like this, the more elections they'll keep losing.

This week's California Recall was yet another enormous blow against the Democratic Party. Yet, they aren't about to admit it. Just like the 2000 election was a debacle for the Dems and all they could think of was uncounted votes in Florida and a 550,000 vote plurality, and not see that they had been humiliated in an election that should have been there's for the picking. Dems also found plenty to spin about after the 2002 unmitigated disaster for their party. For instance, they took solace in the razor-slender re-election victory of Senator Landrieu in the December runoff. The fact that Suzie Terell almost unseated her by receiving more than 48% of the vote in one of the South's 2 most Democratic states was of no interest or concern to the Democrats. In the words of Tom Daschle, the Democrats proved in that election that they could 'win anywhere'.

I wonder what 2004 has in store?
