I don't think investigations, an indictment, or even jail time is going to hurt Mayor Street in a city like Philadelphia.

I'm not so sure .. the Union Members are ticked off at Street

The Carpeters Union last I heard were upset at Street and Rendall

The Carpenters are mad because Street and Rendell replaced them at the Convention Center with state workers.

Though, to be honest, they needed to be replaced. They were driving away business with their extortionate demands, lack of productivity, and sheer orneriness. State workers are actually an improvement (a remarkable statement).

Yeah, that union was the last union holdout in the attempt to make the white elephant Convention Center viable. Democrats Street and Rendell did an end run around the Carpenter's Union.

I think what's going on may have to do with Milton and the airport, but there is so much Democrat corruption and graft in Philly, it could simply be an offshoot of one of the Camden investigations. Camden has, what?, at least two recent Democrat mayors in jail and maybe somebody decided to sing.
