I don't know where the phrase "piling on" originated with this scampaign against Rush but I do recall seeing your football graphics with the ref.

I've since heard this phrase a couple times in discussions on radio about the news reports and idiotorials.

You may have been the one to originate a very appropriate description of what is happening.

The referee was with the "personal foul" signal - that's exactly what "piling on" is - a personal foul.
