And extending your logic, pot comes from mainly rural growers that have nothing to do with terrorism. But that doesn't stop them from being protrayed as being buddy buddy with bin Laden.

I'm not refering to street level dealers, I'm refering to the original source.
You get a street drug like cocaine or something (sorry if I'm not up on the latest fad) which originates from outside the U.S. and you run the risk that the profits are doing something more neferious than building villas in Colombia.
You get OC illegally, it's still not coming from those overseas terrorist-linked (potentially) sources.
The kid in Kentucky still has the same problem, no minimizing that, just saying there's a difference in how it relates to the ads that were mentioned.
And I'm not defending the validity of the ads either, just point out the difference.
