Very interesting post. Thank you.
However, what seems to be missing, is the number of Palestinian deaths in this same amount of time.
I believe the number is triple that of the Israeli deaths; somewhere around 2,400. I don't know what the equivalecy would be in American deaths.
Not to say I take the side of terrorists. I'm on Israel's side. But you can't just dismiss the lives of mothers and children lost on the other side.
And a rock has never been
a sufficient weapon against a tank.
It will be interesting to see what develops as Arafat dies(from whatever he supposedly has). Whether he's forced to leave the country to seek medical care, or refuses, knowing he won't be allowed to return.
And he wants to be buried in Jerusalem........
Conflict ahead, to be sure.
