I also did not see any mention of "homosexuality had been "filtered out" of existence"

He wasn't saying homosexuality would be extinct, he was saying that the individual homo's are extracting themselves from the gene pool (future generations of that family) by being homo's. Seems undeniable to me, but maybe I'm missing something.
