Its official, the grandson of Khomenei, and the son of the Shah are combining forces (using the term "forces" very loosely here). It would seem this union would come natural, after all monarchists use God to explain why there should be a king, and clerics use God to explain why there should be a theocracy. However, one can find even more parallels between the two characters then meet the eye.
After nearly 25 years, Mr. Khomenei has supposedly escaped Iran. One must wonder however why would he stay in Iran for so long if he loathes the theocratic regime as much he says he does. From what we have gathered, Mr. Khomenei's policies are rather incoherent, and in some cases contradictory. Mr. Khomenei has stated that he welcomes American intervention, and from this one can conclude that Mr. Khomenei would enthusiastically greet a military attack on Iran. We suggest that the relatives of Mr.Khomeneis that still reside in Iran mark their houses with big red targets so that if American bombers do invade Iran, they at least hit the proper facilities. Marze Por Gohar Party considers advocating the bombing of ones country by a foreign force as treason, and we condemn any calls to militarily attack Iran by foreign forces. We have repeatedly said, Iranians are going to overthrow the theocracy themselves, and we stand by our statement. It is ironic that the same person who is inviting attacks on Iranians is the same person who was happily sipping tea in a bombproof bunker during the Iran-Iraq war. Mr. Khomenei states that his grand fathers revolution was hijacked, yet he fails to mention that it was his grand-father who in fact committed grand theft when he stole the peoples revolution and turned into the Islamic Revolution. It took Mr. Khomenei over 20 years to come to the conclusion that "a religious government is not compatible with Islamic tenets." Mr. Khomenei seems extremely confused in regards to his own policy stating that there should be reliance of course on the wishes of the people, at the same time on the edicts of Islamic text and yet he wants a government that is separated from religion.
It seems over-simplified and incoherent policies take quite a bit of time to formulate, such as Mr. Khomenei and Mr. Pahlavi's respective policies. It took Mr. Pahlavi nearly 25 years to formulate his already doomed and simplistic policy of a referendum. But perhaps now he will no longer be the only supporter of such a non-viable alternative, since Mr. Khomenei too advocates a referendum. Mr. Pahlavi's platform relies on establishing a nation wide UN monitored referendum to determine what the future of Irans government should be. Little detail is given to exactly how the UN will enforce this referendum, but that is obviously not an important detail to be worried about. Mr. Pahlavi has gone to his father's grave and has sworn that he is the King of Iran, however the constitution under which he swore under is not compatible with secularism, and if he didn't swear under that constitution, which constitution did he swear under? Even though Mr. Pahlavi constantly states that he will serve in whatever capacity Iranians want him to serve in, he has never repealed his swearing in as King. Mr. Pahlavi once also advocated a military attack against Iran, though he quickly changed his view to be against such actions.
Perhaps by combining forces, they can help each other with their inconsistent and fragmented policies.
So many questions remain unanswered regarding Mr. Pahlavi and Mr. Khomeneis policies and past actions. The fore the Marze Por Gohar party is publicly challenging Mr. Pahlavi and Mr. Khomenei to a debate. We are open to debate Mr. Pahlavi and Mr. Khomenei at any date, time and place, and we have nominated the Executive Director, Roozbeh Farahanipour to lead the debate for the Marze Por Gohar Party. Regardless of where the debate takes place, there will be arrangements for it to be televised. In addition, we feel it would be in the interest of both parties to have a non-partial moderator. It is time to establish where Mr. Pahlavi and Mr. Khomenei stand, and to answer some hard questions to the Iranian people.
