Bill Pauli - California Farm Bureau - GOOD man! I have known him for many years. He owns a winery on the Coast. Conservative and understands the property rights, water and environmental issues from a business perspective.

I have my concerns about the Farm Bureau. Lately, I have seen more interest in real estate speculation than in farming (to the detriment of many of their members). The behavior reminds me a lot of the California Forestry Association, a wholly owned subsidiary of Sierra Pacific Industries.

I have yet to get a chance to speak with Bill Pauli. He has never returned a phone call. His legal people didn't either.
