I am fairly certain, if he was taking that many, even the 10mg, he would be either dead or at the very least, hospitalized. No way could he do a show.
I also think ,if he had been to detox twice, someone would have told before now. Rush has alot of enemies, along with alot of friends. Any liberal that worked at the detox place would have immediately told. It all sounds way to far fetched to me.

He did that "24-hour detox" under anesthesia. It may be more than 24 hours but no more than a weekend. Famous people do it because they can remain anonymous. I am not sure if it ever really worked permanently for anyone, though.
