Rush simply cannot speak out until the situation has clarified. That is true even if he is completely innocent of any involvement in any kind of subscriptiondrugs at all. You can't speak out until the legal situation is clear, until the DA has made clear where he stands, and until you have a firm grasp of what kind of dirty tricks the opposition is planning.
I think probably the best response is a little patience, a little sympathy for Rush, and a lot of anger at the sleazejobs who are behind this--namely the Democrat dirty tricks team.

I believe Rush will come through this unscathed (if it is true he was on drugs).
This is another failed attempt by the Clintons and their pimps to bring down a conservative. They fear Rush more than they do the devil.
The Clintons failed in California, they will fail with Bush and the Wilson flap, and they will fail to bring down Rush. Period.
