Do you feel I am morally wrong for owning "assault weapons"?

If they're not illegal to own where you are, then no. If they are, then you should move or work to change the law where you are.

What about Rosa Parks, is she a scummy lawbreaker?

Equating the advocation of basic human and civil rights with smoking marijuana is shameful. Dopers are not equivalent to those who fought for civil rights. They are not linked in any way. Rosa Parks and those who fought for civil rights did what they did because they believed what the Constitution says about the freedom of all Americans. saw an injustice in the law of the day, and worked to change the law. Marijuana smokers do what they do because they want to get high and don't care that they are breaking the law.

The assault weapons that I own are illegal in every state. As a member ofthe NRA and GOA, I am working to change the laws. Should I turn in my assault weapons in the interim?

I support relegalization of drugs because I believe what the Constitution says about the limitations of federal power and what Thomas Jefferson said about the proper limits of all government (see my tagline and FR home page).
