Obviously the world is much safer now that chong is in jail. Besides, it's high time he paid his debt to society for glamorizing pot smoking during his days of cheech and chong...that according to the judge in his case.
America, home of the free...you gotta learn to love the propaganda associated with freedom as it it is portrayed in America...since in reality, it amounts to nothing more than freedom betrayed by the very country that sells it.

We are talking about pot as if it was legal in this discussion.

A quarter ounce, clean, could roll aobut 7-8 cigarette sized joints. Wait a sec... 7 or 8 joints? on a quarter?
Are you high??? :-) (just kidding)
A quarter is a whole lot more than that.

Cheap domestic beer is my only vice. Well, that is sad in its own way... but it's gonna have to do. :-)

The pot being sold now is simply *nothing* like that brown columbian of the seventies. That stuff wouldn't even be marketable today. It would have to be free, and even then you couldn't give it away. More generalizations without fact. The stuff on the streets is still pretty lame. Again, it depends on what it is and where it is coming from. I can't go to the streets of Nashville and find good, green, Calif sensimilla at any cost.
And I know plenty that smoke on a DAILY basis and we run out ALL THE TIME! For a wide variety of reasons. Lately, even those with good connections are out and someone I know was headed to Ohio to get some. And of course those you know don't worry about where their next "gram" is coming from because you've admitted they don't smoke a quarter ounce (7 grams) in six months. I wouldn't worry either if a full ounce of pot (28 grams) lasted me two full years!!

Nobody, but nobody, rolls "joints" anymore. Are you a Democrat? You talk in absolutes that can't possibly be true.
Then tell that to my friend that can't stand pipes and bongs. He has to roll one up after dinner...I hate joints myself...but he has to pass it around. So your "nobody, but nobody" absolute is now bogus.

A quarter ounce is 7 grams. If you can roll more than 7-8 joints out of that, you are a better man than I.

I can't go to the streets of Nashville and find good, green, Calif sensimilla at any cost. Well, I'm sorry about that, really I am. But CA Cense aitn't what it used to be, either. :-)
The truth of the matter is that the people that want it can still get it at a price that isn't unreasonable.

Jeeze, it looks like being stupid really is a crime.

The truth of the matter is that the people that want it can still get it at a price that isn't unreasonable. And I never disagreed with that. I disagreed with your other absolutes.
And I did the math, at your rate of 1 quarter ounce in 6 months as "moderate", that would be about one cigarette sized (diameter, length, no filter) joint worth a month. I'd call that more like "recreational" than moderate unless it's really, really, really kick A stuff.
And in that case, I want you to private post me with a telephone number! :-)

A gram per joint? are you nuts? :-)
Look... I've no desire to get into a pi$$ing match over this. I've said my piece and I've exhausted my knowledge of the subject.
Have a swell evening...

Uh, that would be me. I have this silly, antiquated notion that people should obey the law and work within the system to change it if they feel they can't.You don't exceed the speed limit do you?
