Blood on the shirt is the smoking gun? Comments? I am way out of league here. As a true confession, I normally don't wear a shirt in even remotely, very remotely, similar circumstances.

- Bryant was alone with his victim, a complete stranger, for less than half an hour.
- The victim had neck contusions consistent with being held down, and the prosecution is expected to show that the finger marks on her neck match Bryant's hand.
- The victim had other bruises, including vaginal bruises.
- The victim had torn clothing.
- The victim has a consistent story, including an explanation for why she was in the room.
- The victim said NO immediately upon getting felt up by Bryant -- they were not in bed "doing it" when she told him to stop.
- The victim never disrobed. Bryant never disrobed.
- The victim's blood (DNA match) was found on Bryant's t-shirt.
- The victim disclosed the assault immediately to co-workers. She then conferenced with her parents about what course of action to take (completely reasonable behavior given that her assailant was a superstar professional athlete), and reported to the police within 12 hours of the assault.
These facts do not fit an episode of consensual sex.
To my mind the evidence against Bryant is well beyond reasonable doubt.
