I think when there's bleeding, vaginal tearing, bruising around the jaw/neck area and Kobe's own friend says Kobe told him she was hysterical - it just doesn't sound like consensual sex.

A defense - I don't know how he can defend himself. I don't think questioning of the accuser is a "smear" job until they start doing what they did today.

Lawyers almost always try to trash the victim's reputation in cases like this. Are ALL women who get raped trashy, mentally unstable, asking for it, dressed provacatively? Of course not. BUt that's how they ALL get portrayed by the defense lawyers. That is not fair play.

How about he just tell the truth about what happened that night. What are his reasons for believing she consented?
