FNC: The ONLY person heard from today was Detective Winters. That's appropriate for the prelim hearing.
There was vaginal bleeding and a small bruise on the chin. Very small. The officers never noticed it. Only the nurse noticed it.
Stan Goldman is saying that the implication by the defense is that the woman made the mark on her face herself between the time she saw police and went to the hospital the next day.
So there was a period of one day between the police visit and the hospital. I had thought I read the police drove her immediately to the hospital.

Well, the police didn't see her until the day after, so are you saying it was yet another day before she went to the hospital?
Stan Goldman also said the tears were seen only with a microscope.

From what we have heard today, the bellhop encouraged her to report it. Initially, it was reported that she told her parents and they called the police. It could be both.
