Well, we know 1 of the 3 is Kobe, so they defense needs to show a good faith proffer that they have reason to believe that there may be 2 others in a close time proximity. I know I am curious if she can bring forth some facts.

FNC: The ONLY person heard from today was Detective Winters. That's appropriate for the prelim hearing.

There was vaginal bleeding and a small bruise on the chin. Very small. The officers never noticed it. Only the nurse noticed it.

Stan Goldman is saying that the implication by the defense is that the woman made the mark on her face herself between the time she saw police and went to the hospital the next day.

So there was a period of one day between the police visit and the hospital. I had thought I read the police drove her immediately to the hospital.

Leaving that much less of the 20 minutes for the sex (making it that much more unbelievable that the sex was consensual).

To the person on this thread who keeps saying Kobe is probably innocent because people don't wake up one day and decide to rape: Maybe he has raped in the past and the women haven't reported it. What we're seeing in the courtoom today is the reason why the vast majority of rapes aren't reported.

From what we have heard today, the bellhop encouraged her to report it. Initially, it was reported that she told her parents and they called the police. It could be both.

I know that the defense thinks this is their ace in the hole, so to speak, but it could be problematic. Why would such a well used gal be bleeding and ripping when she's exercising on a daily basis?
