Exactly. They are trying to intimidate the girl through the news reports.
Is she only 18?

http://www.nydailynews.com/front/story/124142p-111351c.html Kobe Bryant was considering divorcing his young wife almost four months before he allegedly raped a teenage hotel employee at a posh Colorado spa, it was reported yesterday.
The five-time NBA All-Star contacted a divorce lawyer in
March - and when the Los Angeles Laker's wife, Vanessa Bryant, found out, she had to be rushed to a California hospital, Newsweek said.
Hoag Memorial Hospital Presbyterian in Newport Beach, Calif., has said only that an "adult woman" was brought to the hospital by ambulance from the Bryants' Newport Beach home on March 5 and placed on life support.

I heard it, too. Nothing "firm." It was included in all those stories about Kobe seeing a divorce attorney.

She said it was a chair she was over.
And the "back route" is an issue because Yeti implied I lied about it.

I must say, I am not impressed with the reporters being all over the place with their accounts of testimonyI couldn't agree more as we're left to their interpretation and prejudice. I read two accounts where she lifted her skirt to show her tatoo. How it suddenly appears on her ankle is beyond me.

I agree with you regarding the reports, there is quite a bit of confusion. However, from what I have read and heard since the beginning, I think that there is a good chance that he did not rape this girl. I just don't believe that someone wakes up one morning and is suddenly a rapist. I believe that a reliable behavioral profiler would indicate that there would have been other incidents in his past leading up to committing such a violent crime.

I saw it on FNC in the last week or so, when they unsealed the 911 calls from kobe's home. it was in March. they said he played basketball that night, and she was on life support. sorry i don't have a link, saw it on the tube. i think the night he told her about the charges she went to hospital also, i am sure that a 911 call was made that night.
just like women beaten by their husbands end up with other mean who beat women. i personally used to be attracted to drunks, got to where i could tell if a man was alcohol by how attracted i was to him. kind of sad. i'm old now, lolol

Why didn't he sanction her today then? All he said to her was use "the accused."

Well, you can tell I'm not up to date on this case.
As for mentioning the accuser's name in a closed court, everybody knows her name.

When was Bryant's wife "on life support systems"? It was reported on FNC and could have been gotten from the Newsweak article or some other source but I clearly heard it reported.

The pro-rape media at its finest. They wanted to report she lifted up her dress, but didn't want to report it was only above her ankle.
To: redlipstick
Oh, dear. The Daily News? Should we believe them about this and not about Rush? YIKES!
It's so early we don't know who has the facts.
What was the name of that reporter in Eagle?

Forced her to his his penis after the attack and before she went to the bathroom to clean up. And he ordered a porno on the pay-per-view after she left. He's a sick one.
