Why "borrow through" when the fat is there? I don't accept some of the premises in the article because the devil is in the details of how that money is spent. Half the education money never gets to a classroom.

Amen to that!
He might not cut the education budget,but he could just get rid of some of the dead weight and leeches; and therefore allow more funds to actually get to the classrooms. Who knows, maybe there would be money left over.
