Episcopal, actually. And I always consider myself married because the Church says so, not because the State says so. I would have no problem conforming to the Episcopal Church's canon laws for marriage.

Exactly. And the canon laws of the Church tend to be both more strict, and vastly more stable, than the shifting laws of the State.
