2 years ago, several of our SCV compatriots, led by the CIC, visited the Confederatos. they found that almost NONE of them were able to speak English, BUT that they have NOT forgotten the TRUE CAUSE.

that is a GOOD thing.

I have actually been in that area.

We had a geologist from Americana with an English last name who claimed to be descended from Southerners from Georgia.

I also knew a Colombian family in Barranquilla who were proven direct descendents of one of Semmes's commanders who feld after Mobile Bay. They still had his uniform under glass and a letter from Lee telling him he should return home. He stayed and started a prosperous cargo line on the Magdalena River there.
