As of 2 years ago, 92% of all the broccoli consumed EACH DAY in USA was grown in Mexico.
That is just one product I have info on. Look carefully at the produce in your store. It will shock you.
(That is so lame. We have millions more illegals in the USA than are needed to pick vegetables.) .

California produces 98 percent of US broccoli, which was worth $450 million in 1997. Some 30,000 plants can be grown on one acre of land and a field can be harvested two to three times a year.

I try to avoid Mexican produce. I have had to throw out zucninni and yellow summer squash from there that had a bitter taste form sprays and pesticides. The mangos from Mexico are low quality.
