On top? I thought he liked the inferior position?

No, he is definitely a "the bottom half of the beast with two backs" no doubt squealing like the swine he is.

I truly think Bill O'Reilly has flipped out on this subject. I turned his show on (I love it) yesterday to hear the NPR interview. He had some good points. But when he says his book is just to help people out and it doesn't have any attack material....WRONG. The problem with saying "NO SPIN" is that it sets up an impossibly high standard. The NO SPIN is that O'Reilly can't let Franken go. No, I don't thinkl...as Bill suggests...that Franken is doing everything because he is somehow in the employ with the DNC. There are people who hate Democrats, Liberals, Conseratives, Republicans, etc because they strongly disagree with their policies and are proactive.
I think Bill loses some of his "constituency" when he harps on his anger towards Franken, calling him a propagandist (which he is) but then suggesting that his books are above the fray and not at least partially falling into the same track. I LIKE Bill O'Reilly and think he has written some superb books. But his sales are going to suffer while he's on this crusade. Even on the NPR interview, he had good points about people being biased...but then he suggets that if someone writes a bad review they deserve him going after them on his show. He needs to LET GO because he is giving his opponents credibility and ATTENTION to help and strengthen them, and he loses people in the "middle" who might otherwise buy his book. BIG MISTAKE.
