Spiff complains that the ntional group has had no success because it is new, yet the CRA has been ontrolled by these folks for 10 years, with diminishing returns election after election. God forbid that they get similar control of the national levels of the GOP - we'd be living under complete Demo control.

Agreed that they have chosen candidates poorly but an equally important factor, in California, has been the lack of GOP support. No surprise but a significant factor, especially in the 2002 gubernatorial campaign.
