Sharon: Left-wing is collaborating with the Palestinians
By Mazal Mualem, Haaretz Correspondent

Prime Minister Ariel Sharon harshly criticized the Labor Party and the Israeli left wing on Wednesday evening and charged them with collaborating with the Palestinians in an effort to topple the government.

Sharon made his remarks in Bat Yam during a Likud event supporting the party's candidate for in the coastal city.

In response to recent critical remarks emanating from the left, Sharon said that "there are recent cynical political attempts on the part of the Labor Party and the left to topple the government via illegitimate means during a period when we are involved in a difficult struggle against terrorism. They are not hesitating to employ any steps and there are even those in the Labor Party who coordinate actions with the Palestinians behind the government's back."

Sharon also related to the current coalition crisis over the breakup of the Religious Affairs Ministry.

"The government has not decided to strike out at religion or at the authority of the chief rabbis. I consider religion important," Sharon said. He added that he has called on all the government's ministers to act with restraint. According to the prime minister, the cabinet's move obligates all ministers to abide by its decision.

Sharon also said that his government intends to serve out its term of office.

"It is important that the Likud government will lead the country rather than a government led by the left-wing, which has brought us thousands of murderers as a result of the Oslo accords. My government is willing to sacrifice a great deal for the sake of true peace. But if the Palestinians continue with their terrorism they will not receive a state," Sharon said, adding that Israelis must unify.

Sharon said that, if necessary, he will run again for the post of prime minister in the coming elections. Likud figures see this comment as a response to party members - including Limor Livnat, Ehud Olmert and Silvan Shalom - who have recently declared their own intentions to run for prime minister.

The pig sharon should have been toppled yesterday.

Mr. I won't do anything about dead Jewish children in the street, let arabrat die of old age, needs to take a long, long nap.

Your idiocy returns. Who would you have replace Ariel Sharon? Who else would have struck into Syria? You don't call that doing something about the Haifa bombing?

You don't call that doing something about the Haifa bombing?

Absolutely not. sharon continues his insane policy of rocketing empty buildings, making empty threats against arabrat, sending "messages", and posturing.

Israel's "response" to terror, such as it is, only encourages the terrorists. Witness recent events: female suicide bombers, greater kill counts, improved techniques (whack the guard, walk in, detonate).

In the mean time more Jews die horrible deaths. When (if) Israel decides to kill its enemies there will be change.

Unitil that time we'll just see more bombings.

Ask yourself this question:

The next major news story from Israel will be:

A) Peace achieved with 'palestinians'.
B) Israel attacks and kills its mortal enemies.
C) Jewish children die in terror attack.
