The overall morality of Americans has declined so far that "we" don't really care about the morals of candidates. If America really cared at all about Morality, Clintoon would have not have been elected to a 2nd term, he might have been impeached (removed from office) in his first term.

I'm not sure I agree. I wonder if the stories simply weren't believed because everyone knew the depths to which the DNC could sink.

Exactly. Dems long ago sanctioned infidelity and illicit sexual relations as acceptable in politicians. The list goes back to Jefferson Davis, Grover Cleveland, Woodrow Wislon, FDR, JFK and Clinton. How Truman and Carter ever got to the top in the Democratic Party without getting caught with their pants down is a total mystery. Especially Jimmy.
