Jesse Jackson described New York City as "Hymietown" and remains a mainstay of the Democratic Party. Possible Democratic presidential candidate Al Sharpton agitated against a Jewish owned clothing store in Harlem inspiring one man to burn it down and kill several persons. West Virginia Senator Robert C. Byrd -- also a Democrat -- recruited people into the Ku Klux Klan as a Klan kleagle. South Carolina Senator Ernest Hollings -- also a Democrat -- raised the Confederate battle flag over his state's capitol as governor. California Lt. Gov. Cruz Bustamante -- also a Democrat -- uttered the "n" word before a group of black trade unionists without it affecting his party standing. Now, commentator Rush Limbaugh said "The media has been very desirous that a black quarterback do well. There is a little hope invested in (Donovan) McNabb and he got a lot of credit for the performance of this team that he didn't deserve." Was that comment cause for him to be pushed to resign his post at ESPN? That's the longest poll question I have ever seen........LOL.
