The White House and Sen. Rick Santorum have ENDORSED Specter. In addition, the four GOP Senate leaders under whom Specter has served, including Bill Frist, said in a letter this summer that he is “a team player and one of the best senators in promoting Republican values and policies.”
You'd think that if he was a "team player", he'd drop out of the race so that Toomey's election can go off without a hitch, thereby not hurting Bush's chances in PA.
Oh wait, I forgot; only conservatives are supposed to make sacrifices for the good of the party.
